In Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, one mechanic is motivated Pokémon, where three Pokémon are motivated (for up to 2ish days in-game), gaining extra experience when in a dungeon. I believe that when in a dungeon, motivated Pokémon gain a 3x EXP modifier which stacks with an additional x2 if an Unown is motivated and brought along.
My questions are as follows:
- If motivated Pokémon are in a mixed team with other Pokémon, how is experience multiplied for the other Pokémon if at all?
- If a motivated Pokémon is traveling in a dungeon, how much EXP is gained by Pokémon not participating in that dungeon trip? How does this stack with the Unown bonus?
With regards to the latter point, I think I read somewhere that bringing motivated Pokémon on a dungeon trip will actually give passive EXP to the entire list of Connected Pokémon, but I don't have any more detail on this and it would be helpful to know.
