Robert John Downey Jr. (lahir 4 April 1965)[2] ialah seorang pelakon lelaki Amerika. Memulakan kerjaya lakonan pada usia lima tahun, beliau muncul dalam filem arahan bapanya Pound (1970), Downey Jr. muncul dalam peranan yang berkaitan dengan Brat Pack, seperti komedi cereka sains Weird Science (1985) dan drama Less Than Zero (1987). Beliau membintangi sebagai watak tajuk dalam filem Chaplin (1992), yang memperolehi beliau pencalonan di Anugerah Akademi untuk Pelakon Lelaki Terbaik dan memenangi Anugerah BAFTA untuk Pelakon Terbaik dalam Peranan Utama.
