I managed to get a horse to like me. That's swell. But I can't seem to figure out how to feed horse.

The horse likes me but I can't remember how that happened. I understand that I would have had to feed the horse, therefore this question is ironic. No, wait, I just remembered that I right clicked on the horse and tamed it. No feeding was involved. I have a bad memory but my self esteem is slightly better now. Win.

So now I want to give the horse some bread or wheat. Horse lets me ride, I think I owe horse.

So I have some wheat in my hand. Right click and I'm riding horse. Left click and I beat horse with wheat, leading to dismay and confusion on both our parts. I want to give you food but I end up just abusing you. Story of my life. But I want to change.

Tried the "mob effects" button but wth does that nonsense do? It certainly doesn't put muh wheat inside muh horsie's bellah.

Tried searching, and all the results I get are like "give your horse like some wheat, lol" nonsense. That's not my problem. My problem is that when I try I end up smacking my horse in the face with wheat. And horse don't like it. He goes all red and runs away and stuff.

I'm afraid I will beat horse to death with a sheaf of wheat. Kind of like how film festivals beat entertaining movies to death by only honoring trash arthouse cinema. I know the symbol used in the tacky ads for pretentious film pap is a laurel wreath, but it looks like wheat and I already told you I'm an idiot who can't figure out how to feed a horse so shut up and let me dumb.

Exactly how (like what random key mapping on the pc) do I use to feed muh horsey?

  Can you please order your thoughts before writing them down? Your writing, not talking, so if you want to correct something, correct what you already wrote and try to give a concise explanation of your problem. Secondly, the wiki is your friend. It tells you what horses eat. Thirdly, do you play in "Windows 10 edition"? You used the Java edition tag, but the last line makes it sound like that's not what you play.

It's fine to joke around a little but you could probably some up this 5 paragraph question in 3 sentences. Also like Fabian said use the wikis.
