I just put [1.7.10] The Lord Of The Rings Mod B21.3 into my mods folder. I opened up Minecraft and in the bottom left hand corner it said that I had two mods. I opened up the mods page, but it didn't have Lord of the Rings mod in it.
How do I activate the mod?

Your problem could be that you are not using the right mods directory. Also please ensure that you downloaded forge from here. This is because you only have 2 mods loaded, when you should have 3. They are "Minecraft Coder Pack", "Minecraft Forge" and "Forge Mod Loader". To install the mod, click options, and then resourcepacks. Press the Open Folder button and go up to the parent directory. From there, use the mods directory in that folder. Also, make sure that you have the right version of the mod.

Your problem most likely comes from the fact that not all forge is the same. e.g. forge 1.7.10.36.1236 won't open the same mod that forge 1.7.10.30.1230 would be able to. Try using a different forge. What you have to do is pretty much try each forge that is engineered for 1.7.10 or keep searching for the correct number. Hope I helped. -thatoneguy
